HOPA Mailer

The Hematology and Oncology Pharmacy Association (HOPA) commissioned Association Management Center (AMC) to develop a mailer/brochure for their 2017 annual conference. As you might imagine, staying up-to-date in this field is very important for a doctors’ business and the livelihood of patients suffering from blood diseases and cancer. This conference featured continuing education, networking, sessions on practice management, new technology…..and it was held in the Disneyland Hotel in California.

HOPA wanted to try something new that would stand out. I hear ya. Anyone else tired of the same old marketing routine? This custom die-cut self-mailer is a one of a kind piece. The front flap originally was rejected by the post office because it was just a gatefold, so it was extended a few inches to be machinable. Nonmachinable mail is really really expensive. I love how the Miku Kinnear, AMC Senior Graphic Designer, and Project Manager, designed the artwork to interact with the folds using crossovers. The piece opens to an initial long spread with the center panel rolling down. This interactive piece tells a story as you unfold it thereby capturing the recipients’ attention for a few more seconds.
